What If You Were Perfect?

I had a radical idea today. What if I AM perfect?

That would take away a lot of the stress.

The stress of comparison. Which for me, I’ve begun to realize, has taken up a lot of space in my brain.

Comparing my body to other women’s, comparing where I’m at in my life to other people my age.

What if I was perfect? And my body was perfect?

It would take away the victim mindset I live in.

The “I’m not good enoughs” or the “I’ll never look like thats.”

Not to say we shouldn’t do our inner work. But that becomes a special, too.

The bombardment of “drop 10 pounds quick” “get rid of your trauma” “join this coaching course because your life isn’t good enough where it is.”

It’s all an addicting, never ending spiral where we are made to think we’re not good enough, and that our lives are something to be fixed.

I have spent way too long denying my brilliance. I’ve spent way too long looking to others for answers. Way too long comparing myself to unrealistic beauty ideals.

In a world of constant “how-to’s” and coaches — feeling perfect feels like a rebellious act!

I’m all for personal development, but let’s just be for a while. Stop feeling like we have to fix everything.

I encourage you, even if it’s for one day, one hour, one minute.

Imagine, you are perfect.
